Cold-pressed wheat germ oil is the plant oil with the highest natural content of Vitamin E. Often referred to as the fur or cell protection vitamin, this vitamin promotes a silky, shiny coat and protects the skin. Its antioxidant effect plays a crucial role in cell protection: Free radicals can be neutralized, preventing cell damage.

Wheat germ oil is also believed to have a positive effect on skin circulation and metabolism, contributing to the overall well-being of the dog.

Wheat germ oil is ideal for combined use with the Omega-3-rich SANADOG Salmon Oil.

Feeding Recommendation

Wheat germ oil must not be fed to dogs allergic to grains.

For small dog breeds up to 10 kg body weight, provide one teaspoon,
For dogs up to 20 kg, give two teaspoons,
For dogs up to 40 kg, provide two tablespoons,
For dogs with higher body weight, administer three tablespoons per day.

SANADOG Wheat Germ Oil is bottled in high-quality brown glass bottles. Filling the oil in a dark glass bottle protects its content from light and ensures optimal shelf life, as well as the preservation of the oil's purity. While glass does not release harmful substances into the content, plastic bottles may leach health-hazardous substances (plasticizers). We avoid this risk by using glass bottles for packaging.

Storage in the refrigerator is recommended. An opened bottle should be consumed within 6 to 8 weeks. The oil should also not be heavily heated.
