Seaweed meal is a natural product obtained from the algae "Ascophyllum nodosum". Seaweed meal is characterized by a high proportion of valuable amino acids (building blocks of proteins), vitamins and minerals. Seaweed meal naturally contains a large proportion of iodine, which is essential for optimal thyroid function.

Seaweed meal contains many minerals, such as zinc and carotenoids, which support skin metabolism, fur, nose and paw pad pigmentation. The amino acid lysine contained in it optimizes the nutritional value. Analytical constituents

Paste - 19.7%, Iodine content is on average about 500 mg per kg.

Feeding recommendation

½ teaspoon per 10 kg body weight (max. 3 teaspoons).

Iodine requirement table:

Adult dogs: 0.03 g/kg body weight

Growing dogs, lactating bitches, dogs with increased muscle activity: 0.05 g/kg body weight.

Iodine requirements may vary regionally, individually, depending on breed, sex and depending on the animal's activity.

Storage instructions

Store in a cool, dark, closed and dry place; always remove with a clean, dry spoon.
