Pumpkin is naturally rich in nutrients, vitamins, high in fiber, and low in calories. The gently processed pumpkin flakes are a gluten-free vegetable side dish with high taste acceptance.
Origin and Processing
Many vegetable products for animals available on the market are imported from Asia and often treated with sugar. For the production of Paws & Patch pumpkin flakes, only pumpkins from European agriculture are used.
The processing also takes place entirely in Europe. The pumpkins are washed and cut into small pieces. At the end of the processing, the pumpkin flakes are dried with hot air and thermally processed without losing their natural flavor.
