The dried and pre-cooked beetroot strips from Paws & Patch are an ideal side dish for home-cooked meals, BARF rations, or for light diets. The beetroot strips can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food.
Beetroot is low in calories and naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. The gently steam-cooked beetroot strips are easily digestible and have a high taste acceptance among dogs.
Origin and Processing
Many vegetable products for animals available on the market are imported from Asia and often treated with sugar. For the production of Paws & Patch beetroot strips, only beetroots from European agriculture are used.
The processing also takes place entirely in Europe. The beetroots are peeled, cut into small pieces, and gently steam-cooked for 15-20 minutes at 95 degrees (this preparation reduces the swelling time when preparing at home).
