As always with HUNTER products, the leather is very carefully crafted to ensure that the BASIC collar is comfortable and safe for your dog to wear. Coated split leather is strong and supple, which makes it an ideal choice for dog collars and leashes. Notice: Our leather is produced as gently as possible. With a dyed leather there may be a slight discolouration.

For the care of leather it is always highly recommended: "Less is more." Most leathers are already greased and require minimal refinishing, this is ideal for a leather care oil, or light leather grease (such as from HUNTER) suitable. If the product has become wet, rapid drying of the material, e.g. on the heater, is not advisable. Dabbing and slow drying will help maintain the quality of your product. In addition, we recommend to ensure that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. The product should be stored in a straight line, or stored accordingly. With proper handling and appropriate care, you will enjoy the usual HUNTER quality for a long time.
